Psychiatry is the speciality that studies mental illnesses. It is in charge of preventing, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating people with mental disorders, helping people secure their autonomy and adapt to their living conditions.

  • Factitious disorder

  • Dissociative disorder

  • Adaptive disorder

  • Sleep disorders

  • Impulse control

  • Personality: delirium, dementia, amnesia and cognitive treatments

  • Mental treatments due to medical illnesses

  • Treatments for substance abuse

  • Schizophrenia

Addiction treatment unit

Dr Iglesias (doctoral thesis in the addictions department of the Freiburg University Medical Center in Germany) analyses the patient’s disorder with him or her to find the best treatment to overcome the addiction.

With lengthy experience treating alcohol and cocaine dependency, Dr Iglesias manages hospital admissions into Clínica Juaneda to help break the habit.
